I've been having a problem for a few months now with my custom built computer. I end up getting BSOD's after my computer has been on and idle for hours. Generally they are Memory Management and IRQL BSOD's. For a while I was thinking the problem was the RAM, but after memtesting came up with nothing. Now I'm starting to think it's my 9800GT. ANy guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Download BlueScreenView:
http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/blue_screen_view.html
unzip downloaded file and double click on BlueScreenView.exe to run the program.
when scanning is done, go to EDIT - Select All
Go to FILE - SAVE Selected Items, and save the report as BSOD.txt
Open BSOD.txt in Notepad, copy all of the content, and paste it into your next reply

Leaving my computer running now after updating my nVidia driver and Creative sound driver. Hopefully no blue screens this time, seems my problem is the ntoskrnl.exe file which from my research a solution wildly varies. Here's hoping.

To check the ram, download memtest (http://www.memtest.org/). Burn it to a cd using a dedicated .iso burning utility (http://www.petri.co.il/how_to_write_iso_files_to_cd.htm), make sure the cd drive is at the top of the boot order in bios, then boot to the newly created cd and run the utility.

I'll run it again. But I've still had no memtest errors.

Running Memtest with all of my sticks in came up with 36 errors..yikes. However when I ran the tests a while back I got errors with all sticks in once, but after all kinds of testing with different sticks and combinations after that never came up with a problem and I never saw an error after that till now. And now testing with two sticks, what do you think?
