Hello
I have few files that I bought from a online shop and are re-selling! is it possible to 'lock' it so no-one else can burn it and give me them out for free? Doesn't need to be really high encrpytion as I am selling it for my school friends, Just so I am no paying so much for just to be resold for free! So if you do any CD Encrpyting programs which are FREE please post here!

Thanks!

PS: Even after encryption it still needs to be read-able only. These are .pdf files which cannot be copied or burnt!

Yes a good question I think. Is this even legal?

What "files" are you speaking of and where did you get them?

You have bought them and intend on re-selling them?

But want to ensure that no one else profits?

Do you own the copyrights to these files???

You will not receive any help here to encrypt a copy of someone elses material.

Especially since you plan on profitting on the material yourself.

It all sounds shady to me. IMHO

BTW This topic is not suited to the Win XP forum, it should of been placed in the "All Other Applications" forum.
Not that it matters much, since it is niether an ethical nor legal question.

Bleeping Computer will not support any discussions of an illegal nature.
So upon further consideration, this topic will now be closed.
