Download BlueScreenView
No installation required.
Double click on BlueScreenView.exe file to run the program.
When scanning is done, go Edit>Select All.
Go File>Save Selected Items, and save the report as BSOD.txt.
Open BSOD.txt in Notepad, copy all content, and paste it into your next reply.

Yes. Time to test out the ram. Download Memtest86+ and make it a bootable CD by using ImgBurn to make it.

Also do you have Norton/Symantec installed?

This file relates to Norton and it might be causing these crashes.

Are you sure, i've been using this anti virus for 1 year and nothing bad really happend. You see before i had this problem, i was downloading non-stop for 3 consecutive days with my little rest of my laptop. then suddenly when we were watching LOTR, it turned of, from there on, it keeps on restarting and i never get into my startup. then i tried to reformat it, but it won't work. it says blue screen. then i change the hard disk then i was finally able to do my things. but again, after somedays, i encountered this problem again. the good news is, i can still do my chores and i haven't encountered any problem yet. but i want to be cautious,. do you think the ram is the problem? What do you i should do?
