Win32/Kryptic.MPH virus - should I delete it ?

AVG reported this as a threat and recommended quarantine, it is now sitting in the virus vault, do i leave it there or delete it ?

A file is moved to quarantine that cannot be cleaned,once there it can no lonfer harm the PC. The perpose is in the event the file is important to the proper function of the machine it can be replaced. If after a week all is running well it can be deleted.
