I want to reformat my hard drive and start over.
So, I need to take my iPhone backup on my computer and save it to an external drive.
After I reinstall Windows and reload iTunes, how do I restore the backup back to my computer? and where?

When I try to sync my iPhone with the just installed iTunes, it wants to erase it.

Please help.

Thanks!
