Recently my laptop was infected by windows restore virus; google was also redirected. I used malware anti-virus and Stopzilla to remove the viruses. The computer seems to be working fine. However I find I can't access active directory any more and the authentication (log in) never succeeds. I can use VPN to connect to my office network, though. This machine is a home machine and not on the domain.
