Windows xp not restoring everthing before system restore

Hi every one,

i really need some desperate help please.I uninstalled some software i had on my PC by accident, so i did a system restore to take my PC a few days back. It restored the PC to a previous state but the software is incomplete that was uninstalled, it looks like theres a couple of files missing. Does anyone know how i can get it to work again because i do not have a back-up of this software and will only be getting a copy of it in next week. I just need a short time solution for my problem.Please help me our guys its life an death

You need to reinstall the software. There is no other option. System restore only restores certain system files.

In the future you should consider using Disk Imaging software on a regular basis to avoid problems such as this.
