Hello, i am trying to install Spore into my Windows Vista laptop, but the install wont pop up when i put in the disk. I have no "My Computer" but i do have "Computer" so i checked it, but it only shows some hard drives but none of them show anything that acknowledges the precense of the disk. So how would i be able to install my game?

Hello Julian,

Are other CD's recognized in your CD drive besides spore?
- Try another CD. If your CD drive is not working at all it is a separate issue altogether.

Tip: If you press the windows key + the letter E it will bring up your windows explorer window. This will show you all of your hard drives, CD drives /etc.

System:

-Windows 10 pro 64 bit

-HDD (WD10EZEX)

-MSI B75MA-P45 (MS-7798)

-Socket 1155 LGA

-AMD Radeon HD 7700

-2 STICKS OF 16GB DDR 3 RAM (G.Skill F3-10666CL9-8GBNT)

-K120 Logitech Keyboard

-Centrophorus M601 Mouse

I have no "My Computer" but i do have "Computer" so i checked it,

Computer is My Computer in Vista. You can right-click on it and rename it if you want too.

Is this game compatible with Vista?
