This looks like the place to learn and/or solve nasty computer problems. It would appear I was led to the site and am glad it is here for us all.
Me, I have done computers in one way or another since the TRS-80 days. I am old enough, (the 1947 in my handle displays my age) to remember 120 and 360 floppy disks. The entire OS and most all you could need was on one or two floppy disks. (When the disks were really floppy) The first computer I ever saw was almost the entire floor of the phone company where my mother worked. You walked inside it and heard thousands of mechanical relays doing their on/off thing. Ones and zeros. All it did was spit out IBM cards for telephone company billing.
All that says I got smart enough to ask for help when I need it.
I hope I can learn from you all. Thanks in advance for your help.
