Came into work this morning, with a stupid message in the corner that my OE was unregistered. Seeing as I've been running it for almost 3 years, this seems unlikely.

I've also been shut out of installing ANYTHING that may fix the problem, including RogueKill, which i have come to depend on.

The stupid malware is undoubtedly living in the registry (they ALL seem to nowadays, and no wonder- I'm having a hell of a time rooting this little bastard out, which is, I believe, their intention).

Here's the real kicker: I have NO IDEA which malware I may have contracted, as a very un-savy co-worker also uses this computer, but swears he "never turns it on". Perhaps it crawled in with legitimate updates I've agreed to let in?

Can anyone shed some light on this?
