Hello,

My computer keeps popping up with a fake windows restore box that wants me to restore my computer and buy their software, etc, etc. I also have a problem with being redirected to another website whenever I click on any link. I am not sure what to do, ever since this restore thing came about, i can't access any of my programs or files. I did figure out how to access malwarebytes by typing in mbam.exe into the run box and its currently doing a scan. I desperately need help, it looks like this thing has taken over my entire computer!!

Thanks in advance!!

Katie

Hello, and thanks for the suggestion, but I can't get on my computer to do anything! As soon as I start it up, the background is black, my icons are on the desktop, but I can't click on any of them! I'm really not sure what to do! Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!

Katie
