IE9 will not open error message

Hi all,I have just had the windows update to install IE9,but now my home page or anyother for that matter,will not open.I get an error message saying that something has caused the program to not work,and windows will get back to me if a solution can be found! Prier to this IE8 was ok but i will say not perfect.I am comunicating with you in safe mode with networking,so can anyone help me please,my os is Vista, IE9 just installed. cheers Baz. :mellow:

Uninstall IE9 and revert back to IE8.
