I hope this is entered correctly because this trojan is not allowing me to view pages unless I remove the page style and I am having a hard time following things. Yesterday web pages were opening on there own and when one opened saying that a virus/threat was evident and wanted me to click to scan I quickly opened my task manager and closed out. I was also being redirected to search results on different search engines than I started with. Then today I first noticed this under my system problems.
Description
SearchIndexer.exe has terminated SearchProtocolHost.exe because it appears to be hung.

Problem signature
Problem Event Name: MsSearchTerminateProcess
Problem Signature 01: Microsoft Windows Search Filter Host
Problem Signature 02: 7.0.6002.18005
Problem Signature 03: 2
OS Version: 6.0.6002.2.2.0.768.3
Locale ID: 1033

I ran my anti virus and then ran MalwareBytes but when I moved the mouse to fix the detections in MalawareBytes the program froze up. I then ran it in safe mode and was able to repair/remove detections. But when I tried to search with Google again the search result pages open blank. After a couple time trying to search a blue screen came up. I then decided it was time to get some help.

Please advise
Thank you
Marisa Horn

Since I first posted this I am finding that my programs will work for a bit then close and I can not open them again. Now my start menu does not work.

I just figured out a way to be able to see a web page correctly with this problem. I copied the link and pasted it into a new page and the page comes up but if I click on the search results the page does not come up. I am sure that using a program called usenet has caused all the problems. I removed it and everything I could remember was done using it. Problems still exist. System restore does not work. I was wondering if I backup my computer now will the virus be on the backup?

Thanks
Marisa
