I am currently trying to clean this computer.

So far I have managed to remove the RuinDl-G virus but seem to be left with a random 5 letter executable (*****.exe) that starts at system startup.

I have virus swept using Sophos and removed the main virus, but cannot seem to delete/move this file.

Also I had the winfixer thing happen. I have managed to get rid of the horrible "Gambling/Pharmacy etc" that appears on the desktop and also managed to get rid of the browser toolbar and recover the options when you right click in the toolbar area. But my C:\windows\system32 folder has the winfixer icon on it and I would like to get rid of it.

Any help here would be much appreciated.

Jonathan Miller
