I have a Dell M17X system with integrated and discrete graphics. I have noticed that after a few Alt+Tab switches the window will eventually start disappearing too quickly to do any switching. On top of that, if I try to spell check an email, the dialog box will show Undo Edit immediately like something was pressed (and is not). When I use applications like Illustrator, I can't adjust the colors of anything as the window for color selection also disappears. In addition, moving the mouse across the task bar makes the windows show and disappear quickly.

I have had no luck figuring this one out. I generally have to restart to get the functionality back. I have also tried to update the drivers without much success. Either it won't install or loses it's driver information then I have to try and get it back working.

Please help. Dell offered no solution on this. I am running Windows 7 64-bit Home Pro.

Hmm...you might have some stuck keys on your keyboard. I would check Ctrl and your Windows Key for starters.

Do you have any canned air?

I don't and have checked many times. It like to do this when I am on battery, but then also does it sometimes on A/C power.
