My computer will keep rebooting whenever I use my shift key. I have no viruses/spyware or anything. I've used hijack and all my virus/spyware software. Anyone ever here of this or experience something like this? Thanks.

Well, then just don't use the Shift key! (just kidding!)

Does this happen with both the right and left shift keys - or just one of them? Have you tried to borrow another keyboard to see if this changes/removes the problem?

Also, you can check your Event Viewer for errors around the time of the shutdowns to see if there's any relevant information about STOP errors.

Thanks for the reply usasma. Haven't been back to check lately, but will try the keyboard swap when I get home. I do have a USB keyboard so that may cause some confilicts at times?? Not sure, but will repost when I do the swap and will totally check out the event viewer. Thanks again.
