Help With Device Manager

my device manager shows nothing when i look at it, this has caused problems with my digital camera and my mp3 player, the computer wont recognize it

Just to be clear, when you go to start/control panel/performance and maintenance/system and click on hardware tab and then device manager button nothing shows up? Or you can't add devices through device manager?

Can you tell us a little more about your computer: manufacturer, os, processor, ram, hard drive, etc? Also what type of camera and mp3 player are you looking to install?

Try it in safe mode..other wise

uninstall the KB905749 update through Control Panel /uninstal
software / (enable viewing of updates) and highlighted it and removed
it.

Try all 3 of thouse
