I have a new computer running windows 7 and I need some help transfering my music onto it. It was no big deal doing it for my last computer that ran XP, but this time around I'm getting stuck.

So itunes and my computer recognize my ipod but its not showing up in my computer so I enabled "show hidden files". When I plug my ipod in, it shows up in my computer but itunes also pops up asking if I want to sync. Of course I don't want to since my itunes is empty and I don't want to lose all my music. So when I click "cancel" to the sync question my ipod folder disappears from My Computer and I can't figure out how to access it. Its the only way I can see the file but I can't let itunes sync with it.

When I go to my device manager it shows a USB Mass Storage Device is plugged in but there's a yellow triangle icon with an exclamation point. I'm not sure what the significance is of that. Can anyone help me figure out how to access my ipod folder so I can transfer my songs? I'm using an ipod classic. 80 GB.

Thanks.
