recovery discs installing problem

hi trying to put recovery discs in my computer which is an xp but i get a box saying "can notload bitmap c:\minint\system32\res256\rst bgd.svg. can any one help me with this. ty

Can you double check spelling of the very last part:

It seems to be a file located on some recovery CDs.
Try to clean the CD with soft cloth and see what happens.
