The problem started late last night after I restarted my computer. It logged me in, but not all of my files/programs were available to me, and I had an error message in the lower left of the screen. When I checked the Event Logs, I see,

"Windows cannot load the locally stored profile. Possible causes of this error include insufficient security rights or a corrupt local profile.

DETAIL - The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process."

Any ideas on what I can do?

The link you provided did solve my issue.

If it helps, the event ID that first popped up was 1508, with following errors being 1502.
