This is my first post so I hope I picked the right forum to post my question. If not, hopefully someone will tell me the best spot to do it. I cannot remove an old version of Printshop. I recently purchased a new version of printshop which I hate. I installed it with no problems and it works fine. But when I go to open my old version of the software I get a message on the screen from PS (Printshop), that says "Cannot determine Configuration". I tried to remove this older version from my computer (through the control panel) and I keep getting a message that says the program is already installed and I must use control panel to remove it. Well that is exactly what I was trying to do.

I have since gone in and removed the newer version of printshop (the one I hate) and it removed fine. Then I tried to remove the old version (v15) again, but still received all the same messages. Also I tried reloading the old version, hoping it would just replace the existing version...but I get a message that the software is already installed and I have to remove it.

For the second time I have tried to contact Broderbund's support only to learn that they are shut down for the day...again!!! Maybe someone here can help me?? I thought it was worth a shot. Bottom line I would like to remove my old version (v15) and reload it hoping it will work then. Is there a safe way to remove a program without going through the control panel or the program list??

Thanks in advance for any help.

Hello and welcome to the forum!
