My computer runs relatively well for the most part, but recently every time the screen saver tries to come on the screen goes completely black. I click the mouse and tap some keys, and after about 30 seconds it sluggishly comes back to life and there's usually a shadow box on the screen and a tab open that says "3D flower box". They both disappear and the computer is then usable but very slow. Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Hello and welcome to the forum!

Does the screen saver preview correctly?
Check to make sure that the power save setting for turn off monitor is not the same as the time for the screen saver to kick in.

Do all screen savers do this or just 3d flower box?
In the beginning there was the command line.
