Is there a way to set an audible alarm or pop up notice when a directory's bite size exceeds a specified size?

Hi Mark -

Not that I am aware of -
Open Control Panel > Sounds and Audio Devices > Sounds -
The box in the middle usually contains all of the alerts that are usually available and you click each one to set a sound if it is available -
If the type of alert you want is not listed , I think you need to be a programmer to rewrite the section of Control Panel -
Please do not take this as a silly answer but it is the only logical way I know of to alter your control panel settings -

Thank You -

Using the Quota System may not send a audio signal, but it will send an email that could act as an audio signal?

Quota management seems to be an excellent resolution.

Thanks,

Mark
