Download L2mfix from one of these two locations:

http://www.atribune.org/downloads/l2mfix.exe
http://www.downloads.subratam.org/l2mfix.exe

Save the file to your desktop and double click l2mfix.exe. Click the Install button to extract the files and follow the prompts, then open the newly added l2mfix folder on your desktop. Double click l2mfix.bat and select option #1 for Run Find Log by typing 1 and then pressing enter. This will scan your computer and it may appear nothing is happening, then, after a minute or 2, notepad will open with a log. Copy the contents of that log and paste it into this thread.

IMPORTANT: Do NOT run option #2 OR any other files in the l2mfix folder until you are asked to do so!

* Note: If you receive an error while running option #1 like: ''C:\windows\system32\cmd.exe
C:\windows\system32\autoexec.nt the system file is not suitable for running ms-dos and microsoft windows applications, choose close to terminate the application.."...then do one of the following:

1: Click on the l2mfix.bat again and choose option # 5 for Fix Autoexec.nt/cmd.exe error.
2: Alternatively, you can click the fixautont.html link in the l2mfix folder and follow the directions there to fix it manually.
Do not run the fix portion without fixing the error first.
After you have performed the procedures to fix the error, repeat the steps above to run option #1 for Run Find Log.

Download the trial version of Ewido Security Suite http://www.ewido.net/en/download/ (W2K/XP Only)
· Install ewido.
· During the installation, under "Additional Options" uncheck "Install background guard" and "Install scan via context menu".
· Launch ewido
· It will prompt you to update click the OK button and it will go to the main screen
· On the left side of the main screen click update
· Click on Start and let it update.
· DO NOT run a scan yet. You will do that later in safe mode.

Restart your computer into safe mode now. Perform the following steps in safe mode:
(Start tapping F8 at the first black screen after power up)

Run Ewido:
· Click on scanner
· Click Complete System Scan and the scan will begin.
· During the scan it will prompt you to clean files, click OK
· When the scan is finished, look at the bottom of the screen and click the Save report button.
· Save the report to your C: Drive
This will take some time to run!
Boot to normal mode
Post that log and a new HiJack log

Close any programs you have open since this step requires a reboot.

From the l2mfix folder on your desktop, double click l2mfix.bat and select option #2 for Run Fix by typing 2 and then pressing enter, then press any key to reboot your computer. After a reboot, your desktop and icons will appear, then disappear (this is normal). L2mfix will continue to scan your computer and when it's finished, notepad will open with a log. Copy the contents of that log and paste it back into this thread, along with a new hijackthis log.

If after the reboot the desktop icons don’t disappear or the log does not pop up then in the l2mfix folder double click the second.bat file to continue with the fix.

IMPORTANT: Do NOT run any other files in the l2mfix folder until you are asked to do so!

no not counting cookies, just says spyware, and adware. ok, so ad-aware SE always comes up with 4 things at least, not counting cookies, and they are Adware.Linkmaker says its Malware. And on my anti-virus thing those dont ever come up, but adware/commad does. It's the same no matter how many times I run it, even in safe mode they wont go away. Also I have alot of running processes at once. And I know I dont need all of them, my fiancee is sorta good with computers, but doesnt know what he can get rid of for the computer to still run properly. below is a list of my processes running at this time. of course the only way I knew how to copy them was by writing each separately, so they changed, through the whole thing but you get a rough idea I guess. computers name is josh obviously.

I did name them, they are Adware.Linkmaker and there are 4 of them, everytime I run Ad-aware. They are located at:

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT.quicklinks.linktracker/
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT.quicklinks.linktracker.1/
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT.quicklinks.quicklinksfilter/
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT.quicklinks.quicklinksfilter.1/

and adware/commad and it's located at:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CURRENTCONTROLSET\SERVICE\CMDSERVICE

and even though I know where they are I dont know where to find them on my computer.

On spybot search and destroy I got Command Service, and Hyperlinker. The first one on Command Service says it's fixed when I say to fix the checked ones. But it always comes back when I scan again.

Command Service:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\Controlset003\Services\cmdService
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\Controlset001\Services\cmdService
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlset\Services\cmdService

Hyperlinker:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Classes\QuickLinks.QuickLinksFilter.1
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Classes\QuickLinks.QuickLinksFilter
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Classes\QuickLinks.LinkTracker.1
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Classes\QuickLinks.LinkTracker

on Trend Micro Anti-Spyware I also got all the same things that I listed above, after I ran those programs and I clicked to get rid of them. None of these will go away no matter how many times I run any of the programs. Even at start-up or on safe mode.

I dont know if this is to be of concern but sometimes when I go to use firefox, I get a message saying another file is currently using it. or something like that. And sometimes when I open firefox or IE I get a pop-up from my anti-virus saying a possible hijack attempt. Are these anything to worry about?
