I am working between two MS Word documents for deiting purposes. I need to have them both open. Whenever I switch from one document to another, I get an hour glass fro about fifteen seconds. It eventually stiops and I can access the document but because I have to constantly go from one document to the other, it is getting very frustrating. This also happens if I check the internet and then go back to the documents. I tried repairing my MS Word installation. It seemed to have a positive effect (it doesn't hang as long) but it is still hanging. No other programs hang. Just Word. What should I do?

I would uninstall Word, reinstall it...then update it for any applicable SPs and critical updates.
