I have some movieland/mediapipe virus taking over my computer. I tried everything and can't get rid of it. Please help. This virus tells me I used a 3 day trial of this product, and now that the 3 days have expired I have to pay $99 to have these reminders stop. I never asked for a 3 day trial of anything. These reminders are getting so bad they have taken over my whole computer. I tried doing virus scans, and spyware scans and deleting what ever popped up but nothing is helping.

Have you run them from Safe Mode? Start Safe Mode with network support so you antivirus and antispyware can update.

I don't know too much about computers. I'm not sure what safe mode is. I do know that before running my virus and spyware scans I did update them.

Safe Mode can be reached by tapping the F8 key when you turn the computer on. The Boot Menu will be the first screen after the brand screen (Dell, Compaq, HP,..).
