I have an Acer that I just installed XP on but it has no internet. I have another computer (eMachines) that is already connected to the internet. How do I share that internet from one PC to the other? I have a wired cable ready to go. What do I need to do?

First of when you installed xp on the Acer did you install all of the drivers? Check by going to the device manager. If no devices show an exclaimation point then you're okay.

Second how is the other machine connected to the internet? Do you have a router, modem, or a combination of both from your ISP?
