Elise just finished clearing my machine for viruses and recommended installing a firewall. I selected Zone Alarm and after completing the installation and required reboot my machine hangs minutes after after reboot. I may need help to fix this. If anyone is available to respond I would appreciate it as my machine is now largely unusable.

The major problem has been rectified I managed to get into add/remove programs by shutting down all security protections as the machine booted and removed Zone Alarm. If someone could assist in determining what I probably did wrong so this install can be successful on a future attempt I would appreciate your support.
