cursor problems

I'm not sure what's going on with my curser when I'm typing.
Out of nowhere, it will just jump to a different part of the page, or completely move to a different application.
Any ideas?

You might want to do a full system scan for malware with BOTH your anti virus utility and MalwareBytes

Weird question,
Is this computer a laptop or desktop? and how often does this happen?

Dell laptop.Inspiron 1525
It's just random and not just on email....even like right now it will just skip up to the top, let's say.
Weird and wonder if it has to do with hot keys?

Hey, I once had the same problem, but I soon realized it was my palm touching the synaptic touch pad, had to watch how I typed on it..

yeah....I checked some other forums and then reset my sensitivity on my touch pad.
Still does it on occassion, but not as often!
