Been having the Google redirect issue for a couple weeks. All of a sudden yesterday, the XP Anti-spyware issue kicks in and goes crazy. Followed instructions from This Blog . After running malwarebytes this morning in safe mode, it "seems" that the anti-spyware is gone. But I still have the Google redirect and another situation I will ist below:

Icon on start bar says automatic updates are turned off. This happens occasionally for some reason, and happened right before the antispyware issue yesterday. I clcik on it and it wont let me turn them back on. It apologizes, graciously, and explains I need to go to control panel/system and manually turn them back on. Thing is, when I go there, they are turned on. So... I am sure i am infected with something.

Also, I seem to have both Mcafee firewall and Windows firewall running. Tried running firewall.cpl to turn off the windows one and a box pops up saying "Windows Firewall settings cannot be displayed because the associated service is not running. Do you want to start the Windows Firewall/Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) service?" maybe that's normal, i dont know but right now I am scared to start anything.

i am about ready to just format my hardrive again and start over, been awhile since i did that. I posted below my hijack this log from a few minutes ago. Thanks ahead for the help!!
