Hi, I was looking for some advice. My avast alerted me to an alureon infection yesterday from my brother's computer use, then he didn't tell me. From my obsessive log-reading on this site, I know alureon is tdss, in this case tdl4. I ran tdsskiller which detected the infection and claimed to cure it after reboot. I ran it again and it did not pick up an infection. My question is did it really work? What would the next step be to ensure it worked? I was thinking combofix but I know there is some risks running it without a specialist from this site. Any advice?
