I'll have to see if I can explain this and make it clear. I have Firefox and Google is my homepage. I type in a "search" and it goes to the page with all of the "sites", I click on the site and go to that particular subject. When I'm done with that subject I go to the top of the page and click on the "back" button. I'm doing this to get back to the Google Homepage. The problem is it doesn't go back to the homepage. It stops on the "subject" page that I went to to browse. I'll try to give an example:
I'm on my Google/Firefox homepage. I click on one of my bookmarks, say "Fender.com". It goes to Fender's website. I click on a tab on that site, say "amplifiers". It goes to that page with amps. Now I want to go back to my homepage. I click the "back" button and it takes me to the "Fender.com" page.(which is right). I click the "back button again...this should take me to my homepage. It doesn't do it though...it stops on the "Fender.com" page. It does this whether I hit a "bookmark" or type in a search. It doesn't do it on IE. I'll hang around for any ideas. Thanks.

The arrow is what I'm referring to as the "back".

I don't have that button. I think I have the Firefox 4 now.

This is crazy but I disabled the McAffee "Add-on" and the back button works.

I just downloaded Firefox 4, so I do not have any experience. You can remove it and go back to 4 if you want too?

I just got the Firefox 4 also. Disabling the McAffee add-on solved it...don't know why though.
