A few days ago I tried to burn a cd using windows media player.(I am using version 10 and I am running wndows xp home edition) up until that point it had been working fine. well right now it will inspect and convert but it will not burn. it will tell me that the cd is dirty or damaged and that I should try a new one, lower the speed or try a another brand of cd's. I have done all of that to no prevail. Now apparently I can still burn using windows but only in data format. I have also installed all driver updates. Another odd thing is that now my bro's wmp can't burn and his computer is brand new.

Could anyone please help me with this problem? it would really be appreciated
