Greetings,

I do malware removal on a regular basis and hadn't used combofix in awhile as there hasn't been need, but lately I noticed it won't run if it thinks AV software is running in the background.

I'd like to start by mentioning I love the tool, it does save me time. I'm sure all IT support technicians appreciate the community tools saving time on scripting our own on every occasion.

Anyway, I'm looking for a switch to get combofix to ignore av installations, I know the risks, have been in the industry for over ten years. I just really don't feel like running manual scripts to remove the trojans etc manually, it's just a pain and wastes time if I can avoid it on common a common virus. Please don't ask for a log of the system I was repairing when I discovered this, as I've already removed it manually.

Thanks.

Yeah thanks, I've read that already in looking for a solution.

I'll turn your answer into simple english instead of corporate not liable generic answer on a page so you can't argue directly with us answer.

"We're not telling, do it our way because we believe we know more than you about malware, even though we claim no liability. Please go make your own scripts and don't use combofix at all unless you let us hold your hand."

No hard feelings though, author is entitled to handle things the way they want regardless if I have an opposing opinion about it.

Cheers.
