Everything else seems normal, but suddenly cnay CD label print, either on paper or directly on a disc, comes out n grayscale. There is no step to select either color or grayscale. What might jhave caused this and what should I do? Thanks.

When you print, go into "advanced" options and ensure that the "print in grayscale" option isn't selected. Some printers will default to this, or it might've changed to that for a black and white print (like for text) and stayed there. You can't just hit the print button, try to find the options (perhaps through "file>print").

Worst case scenario is that you could uninstall then reinstall the printer and it's drivers in hopes that it would reset all of the settings.
