hey im getting a new video card and i was wondering how you uninstall the current drivers that are on the pc. currently i have no card and im running off w/e video crap came with the mother board. intel xtreme graphics i think
my friend said that the box should come with a manual on how to do it ut im not sure.
im getting an ati radeon 925o 256 mg pci
and please dont tell me to look in my computers manual b/c its piece of crap that has no info on how to do anything.

Go to Device manager and a tab for the video adapter will have uninstall.
If you don't mind me asking what type of computer do you have? Most onboard video is automaticily disabled when a new adapter in detected. You can just check disable. Windows will detect the old onboard adapter and attempt to reinstall it when your computer restarts.

i have a compaq presario windows xp home sp1 508 ram p4

o and i went to device manager would i go to the display adaptor and disable the intel grapics controller (which is under display adaptor currently)?

Yes the display adapter is what you want to disable. Most onboard adapter will be disabled by the BIOS when it detects the new adapter.
