I have Windows 7 on my computer. Can anyone tell me the difference between Start/favorites and the Favorites toolbar which is the third toolbar on top of the screen? Thank you very much. Murrar

If they are the same, why do we need two of them? Can I get rid of the Favorites toolbar? If so, how? Thank you. Murrar

In the browser click on: View - Toolbars. Check or uncheck whatever you like.

If you don't want the Favorites Item Listed in the Start Menu you can right click on the task bar then select Properties. Find the Start Menu tab, and click the Customize button. Scroll till you find the Favorites radio button and un-check it.

Hit okay then apply.
