I have a problem and hope you can help.

My daughter's laptop is infected with antimalware doctor, so I printed off your advice on how to get rid of it.

The problem is, it won't let me put rkill on her computer. I can't download it and I can't copy and paste it from a usb stick. It says it no longer exists, and it isn't there.

Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks.

Edit: Moved topic from Virus, Trojan, Spyware, and Malware Removal Logs to the more appropriate forum. ~ Animal

Since you have the directions for removal already. I will just link to RKill for you: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/anti-virus/rkill

Let us know if you're still having a problem getting Rkill to download.

I try to save it but it won't let me. I get a message saying I can't save it because you cannot change the contents of that folder.

Change the folder properties and try again, or try saving in a different location.
