Looking at Buying a New LCD Monitor.
The 2 That I have researched that "appear" to be decent in their Category are:
ASUS VE278Q & VIEWSONIC VX2739wm
Having trouble making a decision, wanted to get some Feedback from the Members, and see who Has one of these Models, and What they think?

I don't have either display, but from looking glancing at the specs, I immediately notice the following:

ASUS

Contrast Ratio
ASCR 10,000,000:1

Response Time
2ms GTG

Horizontal Refresh Rate
24 - 92 kHz

Vertical Refresh Rate
50 - 85 Hz

Power Consumption
Power Consumption < 45 W
Power Saving Mode < 2 W

Dimensions
25.32" x 17.54" x 8.66"

Weight
14.33 lbs.

------------------------------------------

ViewSonic

Contrast Ratio
DC 100,000:1(1200:1)

Response Time
1ms

Horizontal Refresh Rate
24kHz - 83kHz

Vertical Refresh Rate
50Hz - 76Hz

Power Consumption
58W (typ); 38W (Eco-mode)

Dimensions
25.5" x 19.3" x 9.9"

Weight
19.9 lbs.

------------------------------------

The ASUS display has a better contrast ratio, it's capable of a higher refresh rate, it's easier on your electric bill, it's smaller (without sacrificing screen size), it's lighter, and it looks better (IMO). Since the prices are the same all the way down to the shipping, I'd go with the ASUS. That said, the differences between the two are rather negligible, AFAIK, so it's pretty much down to what you prefer.
