We have a dell with windows 7 64 bit OS
First, We thank you for taking the time to read this and to hopefully help us. we were infected with the rougeware "windows diagnostic" and followed the instructions of a friend: we installed advanced system care 4 beta 1.5 free and let it run an entire list of scans with something called "Deep Care"(Full malware scan, security defence, vulnurability fix, etc, etc....) well, that did take care of all the critical error messages and everything else it was doing so that the computer is now back to normal.....except all of the files and folders in the computer have vanished,(documents, photos, music) along with everything on the desktop (photo, files) AND we are unable to save anything to the computer.
The computer claims that there are only 40.2 GB free of 218 GB but when I click to see what all that used space is, the only thing that the computer contains are some folders ( their titles are: program files, perf logs, program files86, users (empty),and windows) and these three things : a dat file bootsqm.dat of 4 KB and an application extention called msdia80.dll with a blank icon, and lastly something with a wird looking icon called UNWISE, an application of 159 KB. ...Unwise indeed....getting this rougeware....

Hmmm, I have a feeling our stuff is still in here somewhere, but where?
Also, how can we get our desktop back and save documents once again?

Infinite Thanks,
The Bumbus
