Right-click on the application and click Run as administrator?

Instructions are for Vista but I'm assuming it should be the same in 7 since a search for Elevation to Administer Rights in Windows 7 @ Spybot's site yields 0 results. (I don't use Spybot)

Elevation to Administer Rights in Windows Vista http://forums.spybot.info/showpost.php?p=263782&postcount=2

Permanently elevate.
  • If you are running Spybot from a desktop shortcut for example, right click on the desktop shortcut and select Properties.
  • Then go into Application Compatibility and select "Run As administrator".

It's already been solved, the OP said it worked. :) Thanks for posting a permanent solution though.

Beenblossom: May I suggest you dump Spybot? It's old school and it can, in certain instances, cause problems (ie, teatimer). Today's best of breed anti-malware apps are MalwareBytes and Super Antispyware. Both offer free versions.

....the OP said it worked

I must've missed that part since the OP only has only 1 post total.
