Sharing files on a wifi network

Me and some of my friends are on a wifi network.However we are unable to share data.We have shared our respective drives but still we cannot view our data.Please Help

No.We stay in a rented flat so basically its a home network.

What firewalls are enabled?

Yes I think all our firewalls are enabled,both Windows and PCTOOLS firewalls.

Disable them all and try again. You should only be using one firewall, and I recommend Windows Firewall.
