I just installed RF online in my computer and my screen will be darker everytime I load the game in window mode,
My video card is a Inno3d Geforce 9500gt 1GB/128 bit but it goes back to normal once I exit the game, all my other games are fine in window mode.

I am a bit lost as to what RF is and why you refer to it as Window mode.

Can you please supply a little more information in your next post.

Thank you.

Bruce.

I prefer window mode for me to surf the net while playing the game, BTW RF is an online game , the issue happens when I play that game, my desktop screen goes darker.

I get about 233,000,000 hits for RF on Google, is RF short for Rumble Fighter?

Bruce.

So I was correct this is the correct link to the game that I posted above.

Left me check the site for any issues with graphics being dark.

While your game is running please look for the setup menu.

Below is what is mentioned for the video graphics setup on their web site.

You can configure game screen and sound settings by clicking the [Setup] button in the launcher.

Configuration items

Graphic Driver Configure VGA card settings

Resolution Resolution (definition increases with resolution)
- Computer specs become more demanding
- Lower resolution recommended for low-spec computers

Texture Detail -- Configure the fineness of graphic (quality increases with fineness)

Dynamic Light -- Select the quality of dynamic light

Glow Light -- Select the quality of glow light

Shadow -- Select the amount of shadow

Sound -- Turn on/off the background music and effects in the game

Load default setting -- Choose overall monitor brightness from Custom/Low/Default/High Setting/Very High Setting

Gamma -- Adjust brightness of monitor

Use mouse accelerator -- Determine the use of mouse accelerator

Detailed texture -- Determine the use of detailed texture

It is with-in this menu that you can adjust your video levels for brightness.

Gamma seems like one option that will work.

But you can also choose load default setting.

Seems like a pretty cool game, is there a subcription you have to purchase to play this game?

Bruce.

When I play the game as soon as I am logged in, when I check my desktop from the back ground it becomes darker but not too dark, it just changes a bit.

thnx will try this later..
btw yeah it's a very nice game, it has high quality graphics so far the best game graphics i tried.
in the server that i am playing right now, it's free to play but you can have a premium subscription for you to have x2 exp helping you to level up faster, there are a lot of private servers for RF, the most popular world wide is RF POA (Process of Anniliation), the game has a unique concept with differs it from others.

Thanks for your feed-back on the program. :thumbup2:

I think I might try it out, I like games like that, even though I am a 51 1/2 year old fart!

Please keep me posted on your results after making those changes.

I think I got the problem, it's the Gamma settings.
I have adjusted the Gamma settings for the game and I have noticed that my Desktop screen does to.
My screen went darker since I have set my RF's gamma to darker.I just have to set the gamma of my game to brighter for my screen not to change.

Thnx a lot MrBruce1959
