So I'll get right into it. Two days ago I was under attack by WORM/Yahos. So says Avira AntiVir. It blocked a few copies of the file from being executed but i knew it wasn't going t be that easy. Right after i did a scan with Avira it found a couple more copies of WORM/Yahos but that was it. So i though maybe it would be ok. Half an hour later I noticed a slow down which got worse. After a wile my cpu was running constantly high(estimate between 60-100%)constantly. Also my RAM is also less than it is usually. i no i'm infected with something bad because i have not been able to find it yet. Tried Male-ware Bytes, Avira, SUPERantispyware, and lastly Spybot search and destroy. Spy bot did find somethings like i thought it would but nothing major. sorry i didn't keep what it found. Since you guys are the pros what else do you recommend? and one more thing i'm not sure if i accedently typed something in wrong, but it has went to a porn site once.

Thanks! i hope you guys can help.

Hello this worm was spread via Yahoo Messengerand has these abilities
Drops files
Lowers security settings
Records keystrokes
Registry modification
Opens website in web browser
This allows hackers to, steal critical system information and download and execute files.

If you do any banking or other financial transactions on the PC or if it should contain any other sensitive information, please get to a known clean computer and change all passwords where applicable, and it would be wise to contact those same financial institutions to apprise them of your situation.

I would recommend you post a DDS log and be sure that it is gone.

Please go here....
Preparation Guide ,do steps 6 - 9.

Create a DDS log and post it in the new topic explained in step 9,which is here Virus, Trojan, Spyware, and Malware Removal Logs and not in this topic, thanks.
If Gmer won't run, skip it and move on.
Let me know if that went well.
