Repairing HP Mini with windows 7 starter OS

i tried to boot from the repair disk that i put on a usb flash but my system is not listed when it gives the option for recovery system. it now says that i need to load drivers and i dont know what ones i need to load or if i have them. im working with a hp mini netbook so i had to use a flash hd. if anyone knows what dirvers i need or what to do plz help. thx

check boot options in bios, usually a function key like F10

i booted it right and changed the bios it just keeps saying i need to install the drivers because they cant be located. i formatted the HDD partition and i believe i wiped the entire computer however i thought after i installed windows 7 then did the repair it would load everything back but i think i still missing the Main OS

Is there a factory restore partition? I have an HP laptop and mine is f11, not sure if yours is the same but might be worth a shot

yes mines the same but when i try to restore than it goes back to original loading screen where it say that i am missing boot mgr and the only option is to restart

that bites. well tell me the steps you took to get the repair cd on the usb.
