Hello,

I've just become infected with System Tools. I've downloaded and installed Malwarebytes onto my laptop from malwarebytes.org. Then I went into Safe Mode w/ Networking and proceeded to run Malwarebytyes. I clicked on "Perform Full Scan" and it starts scanning for about two minutes before my computer shuts down completely. I've tried it five times with the same result.

Can you please offer advice on how to fix this? Thanks.

Some types of malware will target Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and other security tools to keep them from running properly. If that's the case, please refer to the suggestions provided in For those having trouble running Malwarebytes Anti-Malware as you may need to rename it or use RKill by Grinler.
