When I close the lip to my laptop I have it set to sleep but since yesterday it has been shutting down whenever it goes to sleep. I have had the laptop for a year and sleep was working fine till last night. I have attempted to sleep from the start menu and also shuts the laptop down. Any Help? Its rather annoying to have to reboot several times a day.

try this, start>control panel>power options>change when the computer sleeps (left hand side)>change advanced power settings click the + sign next to power buttons and lid...click the + sign next to lid close action...whats it set to? you can click the blue writing and change the action from the drop down menu...also check the sleep button action...

good luck!
