Hi please do forgive me If I `m violating Rules of community Forums

But

I have a few Game Disc Namely Age of Mythology etc

the problem is these disc`s are scratched due to frequent use :mellow:

The problem is let it be my CD Burning tool Paragon Easy CD/DVD recorder
Img Burn and other all seem to fail to make an image only one tool did attempt copying but it took like 30 minutes to reach 2% /100% :blink:


Please do suggest of any tool Also is it legal to make copy

The reason I`m making is because the Cd is too Scratched and nearing it end although I`m still able to install and play the game!


So nay tools or suggestions!

Just about any program you use will likely take a while. Two things dictate the speed of a process such as you are attempting to do.
First being the processing power of your computer.
The other being how badly scratched the disk is which directly relates to how badly the data on it is damaged. The worse the damage the longer, if it can at all, it will take to (attempt) to recover\reconstruct it.

You will just have to be patient.

Hi thanks for both your replies !

My Computer is E7400 2.80GHZ

2Gb RAM

My optical drive is

a ATAPI DVD A DH16A6L ATA Device


the disc is a scratched well but when i install from it he whole install just takes less than 7-9 minutes!



I`m gonna try CD clone and alcohol
I have got a torrent link
but seems its a Devils Deal

Also is their a chance that I might damage my optical drive!

Why not try the DVD-cloner suggested by keny111111 ?

Downloaded and scanned it myself for possible use in the future.

Why take a risk with a torrent d\l not to mention the legality of cracked software.
If you choose to go that way then BC, it`s Staff, Members will no longer lend their assistance.
