Hi, for those of us who have had BSOS's, how effective is this tool for finding solutions. I have never had one, so can't test it.

You might try BlueScreenView, http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/blue_screen_view.html as a better tool for analysis.

As for solutions...I suspect that Google and the info at Aumha, STOP Messages - http://aumha.org/a/stop.htm will be steps in the right direction...along with a little thought.

BSODs are general errors...there is not always a specific situation/cure attached to the error noted.
