The search engines on IE and Firefox will not connect. I understand that I may have a virus which is blocking them but I cannot detect them. I purchased Kaspersky internet security 2011 and ran a scan which found a couple of trojans that were remmoved, however, the problem still persisits.

I'm a bit of a novice at this and don't really know where to look.
